Eye of the Lens
Throughout 2017, we celebrated our country's 150th birthday. Everything started early in the year with our "Eye of the Lens" project. That project is now completed, and was unveiled during Olds Fashioned Christmas in November. The 16 photos shown below will be placed at the new Cornerstone Art display at the corner of 65th Avenue and Highway 27. An invitation was extended to all residents of Olds community and surrounding area to participate in the "Eye of the Lens" by attending one of the Pop Up 150 Photo Booths that took place around Olds. Here are the final results from our 13 photo shoots:

Andrew Strandquist. I am proud to be Canadian because of our ability to be strong, yet humble, competitive and compassionate. Trina Radcliffe. Canada is the BEST. Denise Rice

We love how vast Canada is. Doyle Family Big opportunities for our kids. Marilyn Nate I love that in Canada we have the freedom and opportunities to pursue and follow our dreams. Cali Beazley You see, this toque is almost 50 years old, and it's not really my toque. It's my grandfather's toque. And each time I put it on, I'm reminded of how our forefathers built our great country and my responsibility to build it for those who will follow us. Happy 150th Canada! Ray Hoppins
