The Olds & District Municipal Library Board has full management and control of the Olds Municipal Library and, in accordance with regulations, organizes, promotes and maintains comprehensive and efficient library services in the municipality and cooperates with other boards and libraries in the provision of these services.
The policies of the Library Board are governed by Parts 1 and 5 of the Alberta Libraries Act.
Board Meetings are held at 7:30 pm in the Library the third Wednesday of every month except July and August.
Those interested in participating as Library Board Members are strongly encouraged to attend at least one board meeting for an overview on the roles and responsibilities of the Board Members.
