Forest Reserve Planning Ad Hoc Committee
This ad hoc committee is made up of two community members at large; three community members from the neighbourhood of the Forest Reserve (residents who live within the area bounded by 55 Street to the north, 57 Ave to the east, and the municipal boundaries to the south and west); one member of Town staff; and one member of Town Council.
The purpose of this new committee is to provide recommendations to Town Council on the appropriate level of use in the Forest Reserve and to provide recommendations on the level of development appropriate in environmentally-sensitive areas.
Meetings would be held once a month or as often as needed to accomplish the business of the committee. The committee will provide recommendations to Town Council, and has no other authority. Once Town Council has approved the plan developed by the Committee, the ad hoc committee shall have met its purpose and shall cease to be operational.
Those interested in participating as members of this committee should complete a Boards & Committees Application Form and return it to Town Office. Positions will remain open until filled.
